On 17 August 2026, Alibaba Group launched the beta version of HappyShrimp 1.0, an end-to-end artificial intelligence model designed to generate complete studio-quality songs from natural language descriptions. Available on a dedicated web portal in China and select international regions, the platform allows users to prompt the system with mood descriptions, genre preferences, or raw lyric drafts.
