Record $17.3 Billion Quarter Exceeds Market Guidance
Cisco Systems delivered $17.3 billion in revenue for its fourth fiscal quarter ending 25 July 2026. Net income per share rose 52 percent to $0.97, yielding $3.9 billion in net profit for the quarter. Total product orders grew 35 percent overall, led by network infrastructure hardware.
The full-year revenue total reached $63.3 billion, representing a 12 percent gain compared to fiscal 2025. Chief Executive Officer Chuck Robbins confirmed that order growth remained positive across all geographic regions and customer segments.
Enterprise Networks Fuel a $9.3 Billion Order Surge
Corporate infrastructure spending shifted rapidly toward high-capacity hardware as enterprises integrated artificial intelligence workloads into legacy systems.
During the fourth quarter alone, Cisco secured $4 billion in AI-related infrastructure orders. That brought total AI infrastructure orders for fiscal 2026 to $9.3 billion, significantly ahead of earlier company projections.
Networking product orders performed strongest during the period, expanding under key market conditions:
- Product orders for networking equipment increased by 40 percent year-over-year.
- The networking category logged its eighth consecutive quarter of double-digit growth.
- Non-hyperscale commercial enterprise orders grew by 25 percent.
Guidance Shift Signals Long-Term Capital Realignment
For the first quarter of fiscal 2027, Cisco projects revenue between $18.0 billion and $18.2 billion. Full-year revenue expectations sit between $72.2 billion and $73.4 billion, alongside non-GAAP earnings per share of $5.05 to $5.11.
The expansion reflects a fundamental re-allocation of corporate IT expenditures. Rather than treating artificial intelligence deployment as a temporary trial, enterprise chief information officers are committing long-term capital to physical networking assets, creating sustained revenue visibility for primary equipment vendors.
